Meridian & Victory Take Top Honours!

Tue 12 August 2008

For the first time, top honours at the Mid Term Team Leader breakfast was a tie, with Meridian and Victory sharing the award for the past six months.

Executive Director, Andrew Hall confirmed, "We just coud not split the two for their performance.  We had never had a tie before but both groups thoroughtly deserve this recognition for the massive effort they have put in."

Meridian & Victory did not have it all their own way, however.  New to the awards were Eastbourne and Harbour, who tied for the fastest growing chapters in Sussex.  Andrew Hall commented, "It was great to see these two groups picking up one of the most important awards.  At the last team leader breakfast, Harbour had just nine members and were in a sorry state.  From that moment, they started to grow and have not looked back."  Flagship and Mid Sussex confirmed their status as two of the most established groups, delivering some of the highest member retention anywhere inthe world. The award for the largest chapter in the region was retained by Hastings, with Victory snapping at their heels.
