Training Types

Advanced 121 Skills
It's easy to sit down with another business person and discuss sports results, perhaps a bit of chapter politics but the real object of the exercise is to build trust and relationships AND BUSINESS. This workshop shows you just how to do that. What questions to ask what answers you need to have.
BIG BREAKFAST
When a number of chapters come together for a joint networking event. Agenda will vary but emphasis will be on power circles and face to face newtorking.
BNI East Anglia Director team meeting
Bi monthly planning / review meeting involving Ambassadors, Assistant Directors, Area and Executive Director.
Chapter Development workshop
It's not about inviting people to join. It's about business development. Option A might be to send a marketing piece to a potential new client. Option B might be to send an invite to the same person inviting them to meet some business professionals that may be able to refer business to them.
We will cover building strong Power Circles. Who and how to invite. Let's be realistic meeting potential contacts and prospects over breakfast is a far better way of doing things than cold calling. We'll show how to make it easy.

There is a proven system and if you know what it is all your marketing can be enhanced. This workshop helps hone the skills of inviting.
Chapter Director briefing.
Session where we show incoming chapter directors how to put together their team.
Leadership Team Dinner
Twice yearly dinner involving leadership team members where they get to review oprogress about 8 weeks into their term and share best practice. Presentations will be made top 6 chpaters from each KRA on traffic light report.
Lots of networking amongst leading networkers.
Leadership team training
Once every 6 months the entire chapter team changes. A cohesive team makes for far better results. This training is open to all team members and graphically illustrates how each role should be best performed and how to bring the whole team together to create a productive fun chapter.
Member Support Training.
This is an essential introduction to BNI's principles and how to start to secure the best from your membership.

The training workshop will cover the ground rules of how to present a "sales manager minute",give and get referrals, build relationships and conduct 121's. The training is conducted by the BNI East Anglia team of Directors who are, in turn, on hand to provide valuable experience and advice. All new members from around the region are in attendance and it is a valuable networking opportunity.
Networking Skills Workshop
You walk into a room and it's not clear where to start.

When you meet someone for the first time do you attempt to sell to them or not ?

The event is over and you have a pocket full of business cards but you can barely recollect the people attached to the cards. How can you improve on that ?

You have the cards but how do you follow up and start to build relationships ?

All of these questions and many more will be answered in this workshop. Miss it at your peril.
Power Teams
Knowing how to develop a strong Power Team of businesses who share a common client perhaps is an essential part of growing a network and a business. We will look at the significance of having a team and in turn how to build one.
Presentation Skills workshop
Public speaking is popularly felt to be one of the biggest things that most civilians dread.

It is in life and business an essential tool and during our workshop we will look at how to construct short, medium and longer duration presentations.

We will teach the significance of voice and body language.

We will show what can and will devastate a presentation and in turn how to enthrall, captivate and motivate ones audience.

Not to be missed.
Referral Skills workshop
It's a simple fact that Givers do Gain. Some find it easy to "find" referrals. Some have larger contact spheres but don't instinctively know how to work them.

This workshop will provide something for everyone by showing easy tips on how to generate referrals in ways that range from the simple to the more complex.

For those already accustomed to giving referrals we will help to show how to step up to being a creator - that is say "making" referrals rather than simply "waiting" for them to "come along".

You can never have too much knowledge on how to find and give referrals.
Visitor Day Coordinator Training
To run a succcessful Visitors Day one needs a well trained event planner especially if one is taking part fully in the spring Members Drive. This evening event will provide that training for event planners in those chapters taking part in the 2010 sping member drive.
